These filters are excellent at improving taste and removing odors by trapping contaminants through adsorption. They effectively eliminate chlorine, sediment, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and certain pesticides. Your water will be noticeably cleaner, safer, and better-tasting with this cost-effective solution.
Reverse osmosis uses a semi-permeable membrane to remove up to 99% of dissolved solids and impurities like lead, fluoride, nitrates, and arsenic. It’s one of the most comprehensive filtration methods available and is ideal for homeowners who want bottled-quality water at their tap.
UV (ultraviolet) filtration systems use light to destroy harmful microorganisms like bacteria, viruses, and parasites. This chemical-free solution is perfect for those who want to ensure their water is biologically safe without adding chemicals to the process.
These systems are installed at the point where water enters your home, filtering all the water used for drinking, cooking, bathing, and cleaning. Whole-house systems are customizable and can be combined with carbon, sediment, or UV filters to meet your specific needs.
Water filtration systems are designed to remove harmful contaminants from your water. These may include chlorine, lead, sediment, pesticides, bacteria, and other impurities that affect the safety, taste, and smell of your water. Filtration can be achieved through various methods such as activated carbon, reverse osmosis, or UV light—each targeting specific pollutants to deliver clean, healthy water for drinking, cooking, and bathing.
Water softeners, on the other hand, target hardness in your water caused by minerals like calcium and magnesium. Hard water leads to scale buildup in your plumbing, stains on fixtures, and reduced lifespan of appliances. A water softener uses a process called ion exchange to replace these hard minerals with sodium or potassium, leaving your water “soft” and easier on your plumbing system.
Filtration systems remove chlorine, lead, bacteria, and other dangerous impurities from your tap water. This gives you safe, great-tasting water for drinking and cooking—right from the faucet—without the need for bottled water.
Hard water minerals like calcium and magnesium cause scale buildup in pipes, water heaters, and appliances. Water softeners prevent this damage, helping your systems run efficiently and last longer.
Soft, filtered water is gentler on your skin and hair. You’ll notice less dryness, irritation, and buildup, especially if you have sensitive skin or conditions like eczema.
Hard water often leaves spots on dishes, soap scum in showers, and stiff laundry. With softened, filtered water, you’ll use less soap and detergent; and everything stays cleaner.
With reduced scale buildup and cleaner water, your water heater and plumbing system run more efficiently. This means less energy use and fewer repairs, saving you money in the long run.
Clean, safe water is essential for your family’s health and your home’s plumbing system. Ashley foom2018-01-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can't speak for Duston's work, but I can speak for his punctuality, honesty, and thoroughness. He arrived on time. He was professional. He answered questions i had and explained quite a few things without me even asking. He was honest and told me it was up to me and my husband, but that we ultimately didn't need work done at this time. Duston is not out there just trying to make a buck. He's a good guy with lots of experience in the industry, and he has earned my business for the future. Thanks, Duston! I have many clients who are very satisfied with the work he has done for them and I will continue to refer him any chance I can get! Go Green Plumbing2017-04-07Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 6,764 Service Calls Performed over a 9 year period as of 3-4-2017, with 1 negative review. As with every service call, I am very thorough and straight forward. Clients are informed of prices and options before ANY repair is performed, and an approval in writing is required to begin proposed work (to avoid negative reviews). Mr. Emery was told the house call was $69 before I scheduled the service call, just as with every client. The repair he requested against my recommendation, as the heater was 16 years old, was $350 (not $321 as he states). The proposal that he authorized before any work began, states that there was the possibility of needing a safety valve replaced ($65) that he may have damaged when he tried working on the heater before my arrival (I wouldn’t know if the valve would leak until the leaking unit was repaired and was brought up to full pressure). He authorized the work, along with the possibility of safety valve replacement, in writing, before I began. I reluctantly did what he asked; “repair the water heater as cheap as possible, as the home is for sale”. AFTER completing what was agreed upon in writing beforehand, and after I put almost four hours of my time into repairing his heater he stated that the charges that he approved were “excessive”, and wanted a refund or he would post a bad review.
